Grants

Actions to improve energy efficiency and circular economy in tourist establishments.

During the years 2024 and 2025, our agrotourism has carried out the following actions to improve its energy efficiency and circularity:

  • Water cycle management: Installation of water and electricity meters, pumps with frequency regulators and automation and control systems using solenoid valves and home automation in order to reduce water and electricity consumption, as well as make better use of the photovoltaic energy generated in the establishment itself.

  • DHW production optimization: Installation of hybrid solar panels to simultaneously produce hot water and renewable electricity and increase the storage and production capacity with domestic hot water heat pump to better take advantage of the energy generated by the hybrid solar installation.

  • Renewable electricity storage: Incorporation of 20.48 kWh of storage capacity using lithium batteries to optimise the use of the electricity produced in the establishment’s self-consumption photovoltaic installation.

  • Pool home automation management: Home automation control of the pool management of the Es Figueral accommodation unit in order to save energy and take advantage of the electrical energy produced in the establishment itself.

To carry out these actions, a grant of €19,462.34 has been received under the call “Actions for the improvement of energy efficiency and circular economy in tourist establishments” funded by the European Union through the Recovery and Resilience Facility – NextGeneration EU.

Investment Plan for the Energy Transition of the Balearic Islands (PITEIB)

During 2025, our agritourism has been equipped with a 26.4 kWp self-consumption photovoltaic installation on a canopy with a 24 kW three-phase inverter and a 10.24 kWh battery system for the production and storage of renewable electricity.

To carry out these actions, a grant of €23,136.20 has been received from the Investment Plan for the Energy Transition of the Balearic Islands (PITEIB) financed by the European Union through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – NextGeneration EU.
